The main mission of the campaign is not only to raise awareness, but to make a difference by having the South African Metal scene come together from all corners ( Gauteng, Durban and Cape Town) and throw massive benefit and awareness concerts. The profits raised and donations, in form of clothing, blankets and food, from the shows will then be given to foundations helping those who have lost their homes, belongings and loved ones to these senseless hate fueled attacks.

Contrary to the negative stereotypes, the metal community is filled with people who care and have a social conscience, and a sense of right and wrong. We have felt the effects of social discrimination ourselves and we believe in the spirit of coming together as one despite our differences,backgrounds and beliefs.

M.A.X wants to encourage all metalheads to stand together, to reach out to our brothers and sisters who are under threat and help build up our broken society.
